Understanding Casino Bonuses

We've compiled some of the most common FAQ's regarding casino bonuses to help you better understand how they work.

What Is A Deposit Match?

Most casinos offer you what is called a 'deposit match' percentage. That is, the casinos will match whatever you deposit up to a certain amount given their stated deposit match percentage.

Example: 200% Deposit Match Up to 300 (Minimum Deposit 20).

If a casino states the above, they will credit your account with double the amount you deposit (200%), providing you make a deposit of above 20. This is not to say you can't deposit less, but in order to receive the bonus, you must match their minimum stated. In the case above, if you deposited 50, you're balance would become 150.

Can I Withdraw the Bonus Money?

In order to withdraw the bonus money or any winnings from the bonus money you must meet their 'Wagering Requirements' (aka Playthrough Requirements).

Example: Wagering requirements x20

In order to withdraw this money, you must spend x20 your deposit. Given that you deposited 50, this would be 50x20 (1000). This may sound a lot, but for casinos which have a high payout percentage this is entirely possible. Remember, this is not how much you lose, this is how much you turn over.

What Games Can I Play On?

Some Casinos Have Unrealistic Bonus Offers?

Often these casino bonuses which run into the many thousands are actually part of a 'Welcome Package' spread over the first year. Most realistically the bonus offer will be a bonus match up to several hundred $/£/€ that is repeatable each month for the players first year, or something similar.
