New Software Update at Full Tilt Poker
Thursday, 15 July 2010 - 23:35
Full Tilt Poker has just released a new version of their software that has not only brought welcome improvements, but has also introduced some interesting features.
The old ‘Classic View’ has now been replaced with a more sleek and stylish ‘Mini View’, meaning the lobby is now a smaller version of the original, which makes it great for freeing up space on your screen. And if you have already gotten used to the layouts and widgets in the Classic View, they can still be found in the new Mini View window.
Full Tilt Poker now has a Ring Game Table Finder, which will put you on a waiting list for your table of choice, rather than one table alone. To avoid cluttering up the main page, they have also removed the column in the lobby that indicates how long the queue will be for a specific table. This has been moved to the ‘Requests Menu’ (Requests -> View My Waiting Lists).
‘Achievement badges’ are another new addition to the site; if a player chooses to display their badge it will be placed above their user name whenever they are seated at a table. And yet another improved player feature is that tables with just one person seated will be shown in the lobby in random order. These were previously ordered alphabetically, but now there is no advantage in sitting on a table starting with ‘A’.
For Sit n’ Go players, there is very similar layout for tournaments, with the ‘SNG player list’ indicating which users are registering or playing in your selected tournament. You can also now buy-in direct through the main lobby at Full Tilt Poker instead of going to the individual tournament windows. Messages will pop up on your screen, highlighting what other single tournaments are available, so you won’t have to go searching for the right one.
